There are two purposes of  this presentation: 1. Different finite element methods related to the weak Galerkin (WG) method will be discussed including modified weak Galerkin (MWG)  methods, stabilizer free weak Galerkin (SFWG) methods, and conforming discontinuous (CDG) methods; 2. Answer the questions such as what you can do with these methods.

报告人简介：

    叶秀, 阿肯色大学—小石城分校，数学与统计系杰出教授（Distinguish Professor）, 目前已在国际知名期刊发表论文100多篇。她主要从事偏微分方程数值分析和科学计算方面的科研工作, 在所从事的领域具有很重要的影响和成就。对求解偏微分方程的有限体积元等方面取得重要结果。最近, 叶秀教授与合作者提出了弱Galerkin方法的框架，并对该方法的数值分析作出了一系列重要的研究工作。
