摘要: Fourth order elliptic problems form a big category and are widely used in applied sciences. This talk is focused on the mixed element method of the fourth order problems, which aims to solve the problem in order reduced formulations and with polynomials of lower degrees. After reviewing some classical schemes, the talk will mainly report some new progress and in-progresses. Both general frameworks and specific examples will be presented, and both theoretical study of the methods and numerical illustration on their applications will be given.
报告人简介:张硕,男,2008年博士毕业于北京大学,2008-2009年在美国宾州州立大学做博士后研究,2009年至今在中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院工作,其中2014年至今在计算数学与科学工程计算研究所任副研究员。主要从事有限元方法和多水平方法的研究,近期研究兴趣为弹性力学和电磁学中高阶问题的结构性方法。
